George C. Wallace State Community College, commonly called Wallace Community College or WCC, is a two-year college with three campuses in the state of Alabama. The Wallace Campus is located in Dothan; the Sparks Campus is located in Eufaula; and the Fort Rucker Center, which is a U.S. Army base.

WCC offers an accelerated program, cross-registration, distance learning, dual enrollment of high school students, ESL, an honors program and weekend college. Disability services are also available to students who needs them. Degrees and majors offered include Computer/Information Sciences, Security and Protective Services, Personal and Culinary Services, Management and Marketing, Health and Clinical Sciences, Emergency Medical Technology, Medical Assistance, Medical Radiologic Technology, Medical Transcription and Respiratory Therapy.

Along with completing an application, students are required to submit ACT or SAT scores. Applicants must also submit their high school transcripts with evidence of graduating or evidence of a GED having been obtained. Transfer students are required to provide a transcript of all coursework taken at colleges attended previously to applying at this school.
All students coming into WCC for the first time must take placement testing. The areas of placements that will be tested include: English, math and reading.

Students have many different ways to get involved. The Office of Student Life will provide its students with a wide range of information on various way to get involved on campus. Some of these ways include athletics, clubs and organizations. The goal is to help students maximize their learning experience through extracurricular involvement at the school.
George C. Wallace Community College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association as well as the Alabama Community College Conference. Sports include men’s baseball and women’s fast pitch softball. Scholarships are awarded to some eligible student athletes. To be considered for an athletic scholarship, a student must be recommended by a member of the coaching staff.
