Chaffey College offers associate degrees and occupational certificates in seven schools: School of Health Sciences; School of Mathematics and Science; School of Business and Applied Technology; School of Social and Behavioral Sciences; School of Visual, Performing, and Communication Arts; School of Language Arts; and School of Instructional Support. The college also offers an Honors program for students seeking a more challenging education.
In addition, distance education is available for students desiring a flexible learning environment. Distance learning has three options of learning including online courses, hybrid courses, or enhanced courses. Online courses are classes offered strictly online with no campus interaction. All instruction is conducted via the Internet along with assignments being completed online. Hybrid courses are a combination of on campus classroom time along with online instructions. Enhanced courses are classes where the instructor utilizes both the Internet and web resources to help conduct class. Students meet at the same time and place as other campus classes.

Campus life at Chaffey College can be rewarding for students. Many student organizations can be found on the campuses as well as performing arts, and Panthers athletics. The Wignell Museum/Gallery is located on the main campus in Rancho Cucamonga, providing anywhere from four to five exhibitions per year, as well as family programs, performances, and lectures.
Chaffey College has a special group called the One Book, One College Committee. This committee is a collaborative effort among faculty, staff, students, and administration in which every year a different fiction or non-fiction book is chosen to be read by everyone. Then each semester the committee holds several free events related to the book. In December, the committee votes on a new book.
There are three Chaffey College campuses: Rancho Cucamonga, Chino, and Fontana.

Chaffey College offers men’s and women’s sports teams including swimming, soccer, water polo, basketball, and track and field. Other men’s sports are baseball and football while women’s sports also include softball and volleyball. The Chaffey College Panthers are part of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA).
The college also has a dance team which performs at all football home games, as well as all basketball home games. Other performance include rallies, fundraisers, and special events.
Chaffey College is unique in its athletic program with an Athletic Hall of Fame, established in 1995. Since the opening, Chaffey College has inducted 89 alumni and the 1947 football team who made it to the Junior Rose Bowl. Every year in April inductees are honored at a special awards banquet.
