My daughter was led to believe she would be approved for financial aid if she began instruction at this school. She had to drop out as we tried 3 times through Sallie Mae - the financial aid institution they told us to use - denies us. We have excellent credit. Now they are trying to get us to pay for the time she was there which was very short. I feel they used deceptive practices to get people into their program and them charge them money. They were taken over by Marinello Schools of Beauty - watch out!

I attended Elite, a few years ago, and I have never been treated so bad and felt so disrespected in my life. The majority of the instructors and staff there either belittled or raised there voice at you. You are constintally getting lectured about how bad you are, even if your one of the best students. (I am not speaking soliey speaking on my behalf but seeing this happen all around me, everday.) I can honestly say it was like a year of hell. The only reason why I stayed was because I wanted to finish well. I found that Tiffany and Michelle were some of the main ones that actually wanted to see you suceed. I found Elite to be disorderly, loud, and unwilling to meet you where you are at. I would recommend to anyone looking at Elite to not even consider it; to go to a school teaching only about your State Board Test and then pick up all the styling and fun stuff after. Elite is not worth what they charge!

My daughter was a student for less than a month and withdrew because of the way the instructors treated everyone, with NO respect and ridiculed students. She is now a student at Paul Mitchell and OH what a difference. They are NICE and teach everyone to be respectful and encourage team work instead of gossip and hateful actions. Elite may have been a good school at one time but the current instructors have ruined it. Don't waste your money here!

this man is now working at the stockton campus and students have found about it and some of you ladies are a little uneasy with this. He has a way of looking at he girls and hugging on them. But this school is not what it portrays. Must of us students hate it there.

I just wanted to say that I LOVE Elite. I am a current student here and people need to calm down. Why worry about crap like this. Whats done is done and it is OVER! Manhal acted very professional and got on a very personal level with us (the students) by addressing the whole school, he explained everything, he apologised over and over, and then pulled his brother from the school. It's his family. How do you treat your family? It was very hard for him to talk about. His brother NEVER once was a danger to any one student and always acted with the utmost of professionalism. Our school is a very serious school and very rewarding to anyone who is serious about their career. Do not let something that has been taken care of tarnish your decision to sign up with Elite Academy. Manhal provides you with more opportunities here at Elite than any other Cosmetology school here in Sacramento. The only thing that should keep you away is if you are not ready to challenge yourself and become an amazing stylist! -Stephanie

As a stylist and salon owner, being in this business as long as I have elite graduates are the best there is. all the BS of a beauty school aside its the best education money can buy in Sac. Its not for winers, but they sure come out knowing how to do hair. I have yet to see students from any other school do color and cuts like these ppl.

WOW!! is all i can say. I don't know of any other school big name or otherwise that gives its students the opportunities or education that elite does. You can talk all you want but in the end elite is where it is if you want to be awesome at hair and make up.

As an elite graduate who had to have financial aid and worked with the person you are referring to I can tell, you are out to embellish and tarnish the reputation of a great school. You probably could not make it on the academic side so now you talk trash. I'm working in a salon and I see the likes of you, but guess what I make $45.00 a hair cut and i just got out, how much do u make!!! drop the BS and get an education!!

DO NOT SEND YOUR DAUGHTER TO THIS SCHOOL! The owner's brother works in the financial aid office and is a VIOLENT sex offender! The law can't stop him from working there, but you can choose not to go there or send your child there! Now that some of the students know about him and his record, they have him sneaking in back doors and have the window of his office blocked so you can't see in. But, he is still there.......more people should have this information before enrolling in this school.

great school if you are serious about a career in this business.
