In addition to traditional subjects such as psychology, business administration, art, education and law, JFKU has a school of holistic studies which offers MA degrees in Somatic Psychology, transpersonal psychology, integral psychology, holistic health, and consciousness studies. The school is accredited by the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California, but does not have or currently seek accreditation by the American Bar Association. It is the only accredited law school in Contra Costa County, and one of only two such schools in California’s East Bay. The school maintains a law library of approximately 35,000 volumes and 1,600 periodicals, substantially larger than at most Committee of Bar Examiners-accredited schools.
