Simpson University is a small, private, liberal arts college located in Redding, California. The institution was formerly known as Simpson College but it is not related to Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. In 1955, the college was moved to San Francisco and renamed Simpson Bible College. In 1971, the bible college curriculum was replaced by a liberal arts platform and the college became Simpson College.
