Southern California Institute of Architecture Summary

The Southern California Institute of Architecture, was founded in 1972 by Ray Kappe, with Thom Mayne among its founding instructors and Michael Rotondi among its first students. SCI-Arc, as it’s commonly referred to, relocated from Santa Monica in 2001 and is presently located in the Artist District in Downtown Los Angeles on Santa Fe St, between 3rd and 4th in a former train depot.
Southern California Institute of Architecture Academics
Southern California Institute of Architecture is unique in its study options. An instance of this, the university has a Accelerated Program, Independent Study, Internships, Study Abroad and Visiting/Exchange Student Program.
