I will always be grateful to OJC. I am a graduate of the Associate Degree Nursing program (1983). I worked as an RN for 2 years before I decided to complete a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). I worked for the Veterans Administration for 10years, for the University of Texas Medical Branch (Galveston, Tx.) for five years and now I currently work (eight years) on a psychiatric unit in Houston, Texas. We serve the mental health needs of indigent clients of Harris County. My nursing career has been rewarding in all aspects and I will always be grateful for the excellent ADN program that I completed almost 24 years ago!
