    The Dominican House of Studies is a Priory of the Province of St. Joseph of the Order of Preachers. Dominican House of Study is located on Michigan Ave., directly across from The Catholic University of America, in the part of northeastern Washington DC once known as “Little Rome”, today more commonly referred to as Brookland. In addition to the Pontifical Faculty, Dominican House of Studies is home to the journal The Thomist and the Dominican College Library. In 1941 the Faculty was made a Pontifical Faculty of Theology (cf.
