I began classes at Phillips College in 1988. Tampa College took over Phillips college in 1989. When I graduated in 1990 with an AS degree as a paralegal. Since then, I have gotten copies of transcripts from now FMU that do not reflect my credits from 1988. I have asked serveral times about the missing classes, and I was told that all the credits were there. I have no proof that I have taken those classes. I also owe loans from 1990.

Tampa College was a legit college. Fla Met Univ, no idea. My degree from Tampa College, along with my GPA, did qualify me for admission to a regionally accredited MBA program. I earned my MBA in an accelerated format. TC was not Harvard, but it was should not be in the shadow of UT or USF....Last time I checked, neither of these schools were Ivy League, either.

I graduated as a Medical Assistant from Tampa College in 1983 and at that time was told I could go bad at any time to attend the practical training again. Does this still hold true? I know work with quantum energy healing and am interesting in refreshing my skills...taking out blood, giving shots, EEG's, etc. Thank you, Sandra

I have not had a great experience with this college. My credits were not transfered from Phillips College and Tampa College which changed to Florida College right before my graduation with an associates degree. My transcripts to not include the classes I took prior to 1989. I have inquired several times, but to no avail. I have given up on trying to get my credits honored (the ones they acknowledge), by another college. I have been holding the bag and paying of student loans over 15 years.

Be very careful when attending this so-called college. They weren't accredited by any local or state accrediting organization so if you want to transfer you are Shi* out of luck as no one else will honor your credits. They went out of business as Tampa College leaving me holding the bag on student loans and no degree.
