I was excited to finally land a teaching position that allowed me to utilize my Master's Degree in Health Science Education. What I've found out is that Heritage doesn't really want quality instructors. They just want to 'churn & burn', and don't really care if their students are competent or not. Other instructors that have longevity are threatened by instructors that actually care and also know what they're doing. Anyone is allowed to enroll irregardless of whether they have either the aptitude or potential for it. I myself was canned because my fellow instructors reported that I was spending too much time with explanations and teaching!! Hey...when I see students struggling, and not 'getting it'...I try and find a way to help them. You'd think I'd be rewarded for that. I was told that I'm an 'excellent teacher who kicks ass in the classroom'...unfortunately my fellow instructors on my shift didn't like that I was teaching their students 'extra'. It saddens me greatly....the students loss...Heritage's loss....this is not a good school...it's a business filled with false promises.

Heritage has the best esthetics program in Florida. I love my teachers and the program manager, Sheila is an inspiration to me. She forces poeple to excel in this field. We have been provided with direction coinciding with superior skills. This program is so much better than the others that I know I will get an excellent job when I graduate.

My niece went there and they lost her hours, then told her she needed to make up her hours. They are definitely not responsible. Someone needs to check into their records. Also, they lose teachers left and right. You start with one and if the teacher is any good you can count on her leaving.

I use to be one of the teachers for the Esthetics program. I lasted 2 months. I left because I could not lie to the students on behalf of the school. Please do not enroll in this school.

I'm a student a Heritage and when I started I was so excited about attending this school and building a foundation for my career, now that I have been in the Esthetics program for 6mths I am very disappointed and I have lost a teacher that practically made this program what it was and I'm not happy with they way the students complaints have been addressed. I will continue the program I just think that when comments and concerns arise from students that they should be improved not just handled.
