I attended Stenotype Institue of Orlando. I was only there for about three and a half months. I was unable to continue attending the school due to medical reasons. What I did not know is that even though I was not going to be attending the rest of the year, I still had to pay the school for 80% of that year (not to mention I was still paying for the student loan that I got from the government to attend there as well). So essentially the school got paid twice. Obviously it was written in small print on one of the many papers that I signed. It was not a detail that they point out to you before enrolling in the school. I found this school to be a joke, due to the fact that they fail to tell you that you do not need a certificate in this field to work in this field in Florida. You can take the required test through the state and become a court reporter. Don't waste your time with them!!!
