Admissions

Prospective students are encouraged to apply to Everest at any time throughout the year. Students must fill out a simple application form. Application essays or letters of recommendation are not a requirement, but students may wish to schedule a meeting with an admissions advisor and take a campus tour before applying to the school.

To gain admittance, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent, successfully complete an assessment examination, and have a personal interview with an Admissions Officer. Some exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis, so students should contact the admissions office for further information.

An enrollment agreement must be completed prior to student entry at Everest Institute, and any student who has earned credit at another accredited institution must present an official transcript to the Education Department along with an application for transfer credit.

To begin the process of applying for financial aid, which may include student grants, loans, or work-study programs, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine aid eligibility.

Jonesboro is located in Clayton County, Georgia just 12 miles north of Atlanta. The small town is known for its American Civil War historical significance.
