DMU uses the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service (AACOMAS), a centralized service that handles the primary applications for 24 of the 25 osteopathic colleges and three branch campuses. Application opens May 1. DMU’s deadline is February 1. Applicants are encouraged to apply early as many schools utilize the rolling admission process and increase competitiveness as the application cycle progresses. Application cost is on a graduated scale and begins at $155 for one designated school and increases to a maximum of $805. Students send official transcripts to AACOMAS. All information is verified and processed. This process takes 4-6 weeks.
