I feel deeply saddened for the football student-athletes at BC that no longer have a program to call their own. Often administrators make decisions that are based on their own personal values; not on the values of those people which they should be considering. Furthermore, to you former BC football players I encourage you to find a new place to call home. I recommend Eureka College, similar to BC, the tution is less, and they honor and cherish their football program. Best of luck in whatever you decide, and my thoughts are w/you.

It is my sincere feeling that a complete check into the college's finances needs to be done, and not by the President or her co-horts. A question that really needs to be asked is, What happened to the President's "Buddy" (aka the former Financial Officer of the College and close compatriot of "Mim" Pride's) and why was he let go a couple of years ago? I have heard rumblings! I have heard MANY in this community and in the alumni community say that A LOT of money disappeared and only THEY (Prez & buddy) know where it went!!?? What a farce!! Someone needs to check this out BIG TIME! Pride hated football as was evidenced with 6 coaches in twenty years (I lasted 5 years with her and I should say, despite her!) She was always ANTI-FOOTBALL-read her comments in Sunday, January 18's SJ-R, football started in 1989 amid much ......"discussion and dissention." BULLCRAP! SHE was the only one who did not see that it was supported. How about spending a couple million for the beautiful LEGO BLOCKS over behind Bothwell! What a joke!@

Beavers Football I am a concerned family member, of one of your Seniors who has played football for the Beavers for the last 3 years of his schooling. I hear now that there won't be any more football. Why? I know not enough money, thats not a good enough answer. It is to bad for him now and all the other football players who came to this college to play football. I hope there could be somthing all of us could do to help change all your minds. Please reconsider. Thank you Donna Adams
