Millikin University, also known as MU (official abbreviation), is a co-ed, independent, 4-year university, with studies in Arts & MU is located in Decatur, Illinois, a metropolitan area of 100,000 residents, 120 miles north of St. Louis, 180 miles south of Chicago, and 150 miles west of Indianapolis.
