My name is Richard Roberts and I attended Decker College in the Spring of 2005. I successfully completed Level 1 and was certified as a Level 1 Electrician. I went home and upon my arrival dates, Hurricane Katrina was in affect and I wasn't able 2 reach anyone at the school. It has now been 4, almost 5 years and I still owe money on this loan which is hendering my credit. I most definitely think that everyone who attended that school should have our loans deffered, as well as our certificated recognized by all companies. If there's anyone who's still employeed or if the owner of the company could at least contact me to resolve this matter, cause this isn't fair to me or any of the students in the carpentry or electricy program. Thank You

I went to the Atlanta campus back in 2002. I too went thru the same things i am currently reading about. My questions are...is our acredations a reality or are they a fraud? Whats the real scoop on this school? Have we given our money to people that had no intention upon allowing anyone to finish these programs for fear of getting caught? How can our goverment stand by while so many of us have been subject a scam? Is the real truth that the goverment themself may have had a hand in on this? I have paid all my loans back and i have no ideal how to find the truth. Any with any help write to me with the informantion and/or the answers to these questions. Thank you.

I attended decker in indiana when i completed the hands on training i went home and got a job to support my family and one night i went to turn my homework in and they wouldnt even except it whats up with that. that school is a big joke and should defer everyones loans. I think since the school started in good ole Kentucky Mr.Greg Stumbo which is a friend of mine i played football with his son should really push the issue for everyone to be relieved of their loans and close the case because the irs took all my taxes for that fake school.

I went to school in 2003-2004 and they sent me a letter saying not to come back until further notice. Thats when I found out about it closing for still money. They started garnishing my wages, and because it was so long ago, I have no papers saying anything about the school, and they say I stopped going to the school why would I stop if I was getting nothing but 90% on the tests. This school is a fraud and a phony.

I went to decker college in Louisville for about 5months when i notice that teacher that taught me computer was teaching me english and then the next module was teaching me math. The professor was not certifide to teach all subjects and I notice some faulty things going on with my loans and loan money. so I left.I have had the Student loan people garnish my wages and take my taxes..over the course of 4years i have sent in the school disclosure form which they never applied to my account to review saying I didn't have the school code on there and they couldn't provide the school code..I think it's a shame anyone has to pay back money for College that was full of fraud from the time they opened up.

I attended Decker back in 2002-2004 also and was actually in the school when the Government came in and closed it.Now the US Department of Educcation is refusing to defer my loan. They claim I actually completed the course, then they stated I withdrew from school 90 days before it closed.I can't win for losing, but I refuse to lose this time.I did not graduate, nor did I withdraw from school. And they are actually going to try to let someone get away with charging 10,000 dollars in my name, and make me pay it back.I don't know where to go from here. But I'm not going to let it end. It's ashamed that they caught these folks stealing everyones money, and they want us to be at fault for it.

I attended Decker College in Louisville,KY. I have yet to recieve a "loan forgiveness", in fact Direct Loan is STILL trying to get me to pay back a faulty loan, due to the misrepresentation of the loan officers at the school at the time (2002-2004). I still "graduated" but never recieved my free computer for completing the course or even my certificate stating that I indeed had completed the course. So , what is a person to do in my situation? Im not paying back something I never agreed to pay and I dont want to be garnished either.

hey at least you can get a loan forgiveness..... if you did not drop out or quit school..... unlike me, I can not get a loan forgiveness because I quit when I found out that decker college falsify my contract and lied to me..... since then, I try to get my loan forgiveness but the loan people say 'NO' and I must pay them the loan back..... I also was going to the electrical class.
