As a “normal school” its programs included a high school, a junior college, and a training program for public school teachers. Degree programs are offered in seven schools within the University: the School of Art and Science, the Sack School of Bible and Ministry, the School of Business, the Keeran School of Education, the School of Music, the School of Nursing, and the School of Social Work and Human Services. This is relatively high compared to similar schools such as Ozark Christian College (225 per credit hour) and Johnson Bible college (197 per credit hour) which offer roughly equivalent degrees in teaching, ministry, and music. Only six names have been released in relation to possible recruits which are: Adam Westbrook, former Wide Receiver at Sheldon Clark High School, Patrick Racer, former defensive lineman at Ripley High School, David Peters, former offensive/defensive lineman at Cabell County High School, Johnny Campbell, former fullback/linebacker at South Floyd High School, DeMarre Williams, former halfback/secondary defenseman at Hazard High School and lastly Chris Terry, former standout defensive lineman at Paintsville High School.
