ITT Technical Institute-Norwood Academics
ITT Technical Institute-Norwood offers associate of applied science degree programs of study in Computer and Electronics Technology, Computer Drafting and Design and Information Technology and bachelor of science degree programs in Digital Entertainment and Game Design, Electronics and Communications Engineering Technology and Information Systems Security.
ITT Technical Institute-Norwood is accredited to award their degrees by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. The school has been approved by the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education, and some of its programs have been approved for the training of veterans by Veterans Educational Affairs.
ITT Technical Institute-Norwood is also a member with the Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society, Better Business Bureau, Career College Association, Massachusetts Association of Private Career Schools and the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce.

ITT Technical Institute-Norwood operates a four-quarter academic year: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.
Applicants for admission to ITT Technical Institute-Norwood must be at least 16 years old, have either a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). And some students may be asked to complete an entrance exam or an individual interview with a school admissions representative.
ITT Technical Institute-Norwood Financial Aid
The ITT Technical Institute-Norwood financial aid office helps students obtain federal and state grants, as well as loans. Institutional scholarship programs are also available, including the Daniel P. Weadock Military Scholarship and the FIRST/ITT Technical Institute Scholarship. A non-institutional scholarship, called the Champagne Scholarship, awards four $3,000 scholarships, which promote higher education for working adults.
ITT Technical Institute-Norwood Students
Opened in June 1990, the ITT Technical Institute-Norwood campus occupies about 26,500 square feet of space, which consists of classrooms, administrative offices, a library and student lounge.
ITT Technical Institute-Norwood does not offer campus housing, but it will provide a student a list of accommodations near the school’s vicinity.
Should students need any assistance with their math and/or English skills, ITT Technical Institute-Norwood uses and offers two free programs: the ALEKS math program and the Plato Learning system for English. Both programs prepare students for college-level English and math skills, helping them succeed in their regular coursework.
Students can also make use of ITT Technical Institute-Norwood’s Learning Resource Center, where students have access to equipment and materials used for every class on campus – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
