Mount Ida College is a four-year liberal arts college in Newton, Massachusetts. In the 1980s, Mount Ida became a co-educational institution, with both a junior college division and a senior college division where bachelor degrees were awarded in addition to associate degrees, again with an emphasis on career and professional education. I attended Mt Ida Jr College in 1956-57, I am shocked to see how it has grown and has now become coed. I have never returned to that area and so I was unaware of its growth. WOW!!
