Pine Manor College, or PMC, is a private, liberal arts women’s college located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. For example, a student majoring in English can concentrate on creative writing or English education, while a student majoring in visual arts can concentrate on graphic design. Pine Manor has been ranked as the most culturally diverse college in the United States for three years by U.S. News & It is one of the few non-historically black colleges in the nation to have more black students (32%) than white students (25%). World Report America’s Best Colleges guide for 2006 listed Pine Manor as a “least selective” institution in terms of admissions criteria and placed it in the fourth tier of all liberal arts colleges.
