The College of the Atlantic, founded in 1969, is an alternative liberal-arts college located on Mount Desert Island in Bar Harbor, Maine, in the United States. The college is also part of a six-school consortium called the Eco League, where students can spend a semester or more at Antioch College, Alaska Pacific University, Green Mountain College, Northland College (Wisconsin), and Prescott College at no additional cost. The school has partnerships with the University of Maine, Olin College of Engineering, the SALT Institute for Documentary Studies, the National Outdoor Leadership School, The Landing School of Boat Design, and the Sea Education Association. Although, not recognized highly by the USNEWS college rankings, the College is acknowleged by other organizations.

College of the Atlantic Academics

This school requires an application fee consisting of forty-five dollars regular application fee, forty-five dollars out-of-state application fee, forty-five dollars online application fee and point zero .
