Maine Maritime Academy Academics

There’s never a reason to feel alone in your studies either, since there are academic support services like Study Skills Assistance, Tutoring and Writing Center. That is, the university has a Internships, Liberal Arts/Career Combination, ROTC, Navy, Semester At Sea and Study Abroad. Maine Maritime Academy Admissions

For all student applicants, the Fall application deadline is the 1st of July. SAT and ACT score reports are due the 15th of May and If you wish to apply early, your application will be do no later than the 20th of December, of which you should hear back from the university no later than the 1st of January. Again, the university has many unique facilites such as 500-foot training ship, 40-foot marine research vessel, ocean going tugboat, two-masted arctic schooner, steam and diesel engine laboratories, power plant simulations, bridge simulator, planetarium, ocean classrooms. On the whole, the school is located 38 miles from Bangor.This school features the Rural setting, Rural community (under 2,500) and Residential campus.
