College for Creative Studies (CCS) is a leading arts education institution in the United States. In 1975 the Detroit Society of Arts and Crafts changed its name to the Center for Creative Studies-College of Art and Design and in 2001 it assumed its present name. Currently CCS offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in 11 majors: Advertising Design, Animation and Digital Media, Art Education, Crafts, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design, Photography, Product Design, and Transportation Design. The College also offers noncredit courses in the visual arts through its Continuing Education programs and opportunities for youth through Community Arts Partnerships.
