Founded in 1877; Globe University and Minnesota School of Business, also referred to as GU/MSB, have served students from Minneapolis and St. Paul, from Greater Minnesota, and from the adjacent states for over 130 years. Since its commencement, they have had a single and steadfast focus on providing practical education that prepares graduates for employment opportunities. The school has campuses located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota.
Globe University and Minnesota School of Business are private schools providing specialized career training programs in diverse areas of study such as business, medical, legal, information technology, and creative media. They are accredited by Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees, Master of Science degrees, Bachelor of Science degrees, Associate in Applied Science degrees, diplomas and certificates. The student body is diverse as there are students from diverse backgrounds, preparing for careers in different fields such as business management, nursing, medical assisting, information technology, video production, and massage therapy.
Throughout the academic year, students get the opportunity to get involved in the various student associations, events and activities on the campus. Some of the campus life highlights include the Music Business event in Minneapolis, the Rochester Student Ambassador Sale, the Richfield Book Club, the Brooklyn Center parenting seminar, the Blaine Minnesota Food Share drive, St. Cloud’s Medical Club, and the Woodbury Student Ambassadors.
GU/MSB has a well-stocked library that houses a wide variety of books, journals, magazines, and reference materials. The library can also be accessed online – anytime, anywhere. The online database includes an extensive collection of over 9,000 ebooks, articles, and journals. There is also a librarian available to assist students in case of any problems.

GU/MSB also maintains dozen blogs online that give students up-to-date news and features specific to degree programs, campuses, and other school entities. There is also a Students Blog, maintained entirely by students.
Globe University/Minnesota School of Business offers a range of career services to help the students find their own place in the global workforce. The Center trains students on how to write an effective resume and cover letter, along with tips on attending a personal and phone interview. It also teaches the techniques and strategies to be used for searching the right kind of job. Students are also encouraged to attend the various job fairs as they provide an opportunity to obtain information on job openings, company history, careers, salary expectations, industrial growth trends, and requirements for a job, etc. The career center also provides tips on attending a job fair and how to deal with multiple companies at one time.
