Burlington County College Academics
Burlington County College (BCC) is fully accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools with two campuses and two centers in one of New Jersey’s largest counties.
The school offers associate degrees, which prepare students for four-year colleges or universities, as well as entry-level positions in the workforce. The degrees offered include Associate of Arts (AA); Associate of Science (AS); and Associate of Applied Science (AAS). The college also offers career development programs, certifications, a variety of enrichment programs, distance learning, adult education classes, the opportunity to study abroad, and the chance to enroll in a co-op where students obtain jobs in their area of study and receive training and wages.
Unique to the school is BCC’s partnership with six area colleges and universities to offer BCC students the chance to earn a bachelor’s degree from those institutions while remaining on a BCC campus. The Bachelor’s Degree Completion Program is a cooperative with the following area institutions: Drexel University, Peirce College, Rider University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Strayer University, and Wilmington University.
Burlington County College Admissions
Burlington County College is open to all students interested in furthering their education, who have graduated with a diploma from a secondary school or equivalent. Students may choose to be degree-seeking students, or non-degree seeking students.
To be considered for admittance to BCC, prospective students must:
- fill out and submit an application for admission, along with a $20 non-refundable application fee
- provide transcripts (high school and prior college)
- take the college assessment test (or show proof of SAT/ACT test score minimums)
- submit proof of immunizations against mumps, measles, and rubella
International students should contact the school’s International Program Specialist for admission instructions and requirements.
Burlington County College Financial Aid
Burlington County College provides a variety of financial aid options, including grants, scholarships, loans, and student employment. The school provides a detailed website of all financial assistance available, along with descriptions of each aid. All students are required to fill out and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered.
Burlington County College Students
Burlington County College (BCC) serves a wide range of commuting students, including students preparing for four-year institutions, students seeking associate degrees, international students, continuing education students, and working professionals.
BCC offers many opportunities for students to be involved in campus life including a campus radio station, student theater group, student gallery and art store, intercollegiate sports, student events and activities, intramural sports and recreational activities, a wellness center with an indoor pool and a full exercise facility.
In addition, BSS provides students tutoring, transfer services, computer labs, a campus library, access to public transportation, and a minibus service on the Pemberton campus.
Burlington County College Athletics
Burlington County College offers intercollegiate sports which are part of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Region XIX and the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC). Their athletics program includes men’s baseball, women’s softball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, and co-ed golf.
Burlington County College offers sports scholarships for Division I and II sports only, which includes men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, and women’s soccer.
In addition, the college offers intramural sports as well as other recreational activities.

Burlington County College is an accredited, co-educational, two-year, public, community college located in Burlington County, New Jersey. This facility contains classrooms, two lecture halls, the campus theatre, student lounge, television and radio studios, the college’s radio station WBZC, bookstore, cafeteria, test center, and laboratories. This building contains multi-purpose computer labs, multimedia classrooms, a child care center and College administrative offices. The Physical Education Center houses the College’s indoor pool, 1500-seat gymnasium, the BCC Fitness Center with exercise and weight training facilities and spas, two classrooms, and locker rooms. Campus Library first floor, TEC Center Besides books and research materials, the library includes computers that link to the main college library on the Pemberton campus and to a large network of resources. Drexel at BCC first floor, TEC Center After receiving an Associates Degree from BCC, students accepted into the Drexel at BCC Program will transfer seamlessly into 300 and 400 level classes conveniently taught by Drexel Professors on BCC’s Mount Laurel Campus. Cafeteria first floor, TEC Center Students can purchase a full breakfast and/or lunch in this sit-down dining room. Student Lounge first floor, TEC Center The Student Lounge offers an area for students to study, socialize, and relax. This facility, separated by a domed rotunda from the Enterprise Center, is adjacent to the Technology and Engineering Center.

I am alumni. I know a BCC student who is struggling through some courses. The student may have dyslexia. I know other colleges offer classes on How to Study for students with visual and reading problems such as dyslexia. Does BCC have a class like that or know of any other college nearby that may offer a class like that help our student?
