Introduction

The Bryant and Stratton College, founded in 1854, is a network of small campuses focusing on a career-oriented education for its students. The Syracuse location is a bit unique because it offers residence halls for students. Academics

Since the Syracuse campus is a satellite location, not all programs are offered here. However, they do offer Associate of Applied Science degrees in the following categories:

  • Accounting
  • Business
  • Criminal Justice
  • Hospitality Management – Restaurant & Hotel Services
  • Human Resources Specialist
  • Medical Administrative Assistant
  • Networking Technology
  • Office Management

Syracuse only offers one bachelor’s degree, a BS in Health Services Administration, a degree that will provide students with a solid background in healthcare administration as well as training in office management to help prepare for a career working in a clinic or hospital.

The Medical Office Assistant diploma can be earned in two semesters, which will allow the graduate to start a career in a medical office helping with the files, documentation, and computer systems relatively quickly. The credits earned in this program can be applied towards an associate’s degree in Medical Administrative Assistant, if the student wishes to continue on in that direction at some point.

Additional School Information

The college offers a great online program where many of the school’s degrees can be earned on the student’s own timetable since there is no set class time. The program is ideal for military personal and their families, since the school has a long tradition of working with those who serve our country and is VA certified. Spouses can even qualify for a $6000 scholarship to help offset tuition costs.

To apply, contact the online school and set up an interview. Once that is completed, the student can officially apply and must provide a writing sample and any academic transcripts.
