Introduction

Clary Sage College in Tulsa, OK is a cosmetology school offering certification in Cosmetology courses. The school is equipped with the latest modern spa equipment, and regularly features guest lectures from professional artists and cosmetology industry leaders.

Regardless of their area of study, all graduates are eligible to earn an Associates of Occupational Sciences degree by completing additional coursework at Clary’s sister school, Community Care College.

Academics

Students who enroll here enjoy many benefits, such as learning in labs are that are new and modern. Throughout their stay students will also create portfolios of their best work, which is helpful for future job interviews and resumes. Although the college doesn’t award a degree, the courses here are a good stepping stone and by taking additional courses at Community Care College, the sister school, an Associates of Occupational Science in Cosmetology can be earned.

Anyone who wants to pursue a career in cosmetology is welcome to apply. This includes high school graduates, GED earners, people who want to learn a new skill, and even seniors. All one has to do is fill out the online form and submit it. The school will contact you after processing the form and let you know where you stand in terms of admission.

Financial Aid

If cost of attendance is an issue, it is encouraged students check into the financial aid being offered. The school awards many scholarships, giving money to students right out of high school to seniors 55 and older. Anyone wanting to apply for loans needs to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to see if they qualify for Pell Grants or Student Loans. In addition, the school accepts Tribal Funding, the GI Bill, and participates in Vocational Rehab, Workforce Oklahoma, and Oklahoma Promise.

Students

The school is very proactive in helping students succeed during their stay here, and therefore have set up several programs for students to use. Tutoring, financial literacy workshops, career services, and referral services are in place and anyone needing these services are invited to contact them to receive guidance.

Although this is a commuter school without any housing, students can still enjoy the wrieless internet, computer labs, and relax in the student lounges.
