Penn State Delaware County opened in 1967 and is one of 19 Penn State commonwealth campuses (and 23 total locations) across the state. ACADEMIC SERVICES: The campus offers the first two years of study in most of the over 160 baccalaureate degree programs available at the University. In addition, several thousand residents are served annually through Continuing and Professional Education outreach programs which meet at the campus and at other facilities in the city of Philadelphia and its suburbs.
