University of Puerto Rico-Arecibo Academics
University of Puerto Rico: Arecibo Campus is unique in its study options. Besides, when any student is looking for some counseling or other types of support, Alcohol/Substance Abuse Counseling, Career Counseling, Economically Disadvantaged Student Services, Employment Service, Financial Aid Counseling, Freshman Orientation Program, Health Services, Personal Counseling, Placement Service and Women’s Services can help. There’s never a reason to feel alone in your studies either, since there are academic support services like Extensive Undergraduate Evening or Early Morning Classes, Learning Center, Pre-Admission Summer Program, Remedial Instruction, Study Skills Assistance, Tutoring and Writing Center. Students with disabilities are not left alone with programs such as Partial Services/Facilities For Students With Learning Disabilities, Services/Facilities For Visually Impaired, Wheelchair Accessibility, 240 work stations, available in: libraries, computer centers, Email Accounts Provided to All Students, Commuter/Off-Campus Students Can Connect to Campus Network, Online Library, Student Web Hosting and Wireless Network. That is, the university has a Cooperative (Work-Study) Program, ESL, Honors Program, Internships, Liberal Arts/Career Combination, ROTC, Army, Study Abroad, Teacher Certification, Visiting/Exchange Student Program and Washington Semester.

Are you an international student? The Fall application deadline for international students is the 30th of November. Again, for international students, the application fee is 15.
University of Puerto Rico-Arecibo Admissions
Admission policy is currently Percent applicants admitted: 73%, Percent of students who had H.S. GPA of 2.0 – 2.99: 72% and Percent of students who return for sophomore year: 79%. Remember that this can change at any time. Transfer student are not ignored. For instance, there were sixty-three total number of transfer students who applied and thirty-four total number of transfer students who were admitted. This school requires an application fee consisting of fifteen dollars regular fee and fifteen dollars out-of-state application fee.
SAT and ACT score reports are due the 28th of February and Transfer students must apply no later than the 31st of March, with priority applications due on the 15th of February. If you are a transfer student, you will be notified of your acceptance by the 1st of May. the SAT subject section score is due the 28th of February. Will you make it in time? Make sure to know when all the due dates and deadlines take place. It is also very important to submit financial aid applications as quickly as possible, and make sure they are in by the 27th of May. The regular application is due the 30th of November. Regardless of which application you submit, this school will notify you by the 15th of April. For all student applicants, the Fall application deadline is the 30th of November.
University of Puerto Rico-Arecibo Financial Aid
Financial aid forms are FAFSA and Institution’s own financial aid form. Financial aid distribution is at eighty-eight percent scholarships per grants and twelve percent loans per jobs. Similarly, need based financial aid distribution is determined through Academics. Financial aid for students is readily accessible at this school.
