Wofford College is a liberal arts college located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Wofford Terriers compete in NCAA Division I (I-AA for football) in the Southern Conference. The Richardson Building is named for the family of Wofford alum Jerry Richardson, the owner of the Carolina Panthers. In 2006 the Interim Program will take students kayaking in Costa Rica, play going in New York City, visiting Koinonia Partners and backpacking in Central America. In addition to the offered Interims students can design and submit independent Interim studies which may or may not take the student off-campus. Wofford College offers academic majors in Accounting, Art, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Finance, Languages, Government, History, Humanities, Intercultural Studies, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Religion, and Sociology.

Admission policy is currently Percent applicants admitted: 66%. Remember that this can change at any time. Transfer student are not ignored. In particular, there were sixty-five total number of transfer students who applied and thirty-four total number of transfer students who were admitted. This school requires an application fee consisting of forty dollars regular application fee, forty dollars out-of-state application fee, Reduced fee (not specified) online application fee and point zero .
If you are a transfer student, you will be notified of your acceptance by the 15th of March. SAT and ACT score reports are due the 1st of February and Regardless of which application you submit, this school will notify you by the 15th of March. the SAT subject section score due date was not reported. Transfer students must apply no later than the 1st of March, with priority applications due on the 1st of February. If you wish to apply early, your application will be do no later than the 15th of November, of which you should hear back from the university no later than the 1st of December.
