Wofford College is a liberal arts college located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Wofford Terriers compete in NCAA Division I (I-AA for football) in the Southern Conference. The Richardson Building is named for the family of Wofford alum Jerry Richardson, the owner of the Carolina Panthers. In 2006 the Interim Program will take students kayaking in Costa Rica, play going in New York City, visiting Koinonia Partners and backpacking in Central America. In addition to the offered Interims students can design and submit independent Interim studies which may or may not take the student off-campus.
