Dallas Christian College (DCC) is a four-year undergraduate institution affiliated with the Christian Church. On 10 May 1949, Vernon Newland met with 40 concerned Texas church leaders to discuss establishing a Bible college in the Dallas area to train men and women for the ministry. Dallas Christian College opened for classes in Downtown Dallas on September 12, 1950. Dallas Christian College has been a place where men and women have come to dream about their places in the kingdom…it has been a place where they were actually equipped to fulfill those dreams -President Dustin D.
Dallas Christian College Academics
Dallas Christian College is unique in its study options. That is, the university has a Distance Learning, Double Major, Dual Enrollment of High School Students, Independent Study, Internships, Liberal Arts/Career Combination and Teacher Certification. The university has disability services as well, so be sure to inquire about them if needed. There’s never a reason to feel alone in your studies either, since there are academic support services like Extensive Undergraduate Evening or Early Morning Classes, Reduced Course Load, Remedial Instruction and Study Skills Assistance. Besides, when any student is looking for some counseling or other types of support, Adult (re-entering) student services, Campus Ministries/Chaplain, Employment Service, Financial Aid Counseling, Freshman Orientation Program, Personal Counseling and Placement Service can help.
