The University of the Virgin Islands (or UVI) is a university located in the United States Virgin Islands. The institution also changed its name in 1986 to the University of the Virgin Islands to reflect the growth and diversification of its academic curriculum, research programs, and regional community services. UVI offers 30 undergraduate degree programs, three masters degree programs, and two unaccredited professional degree programs in business and education.

University of the Virgin Islands Academics

University of the Virgin Islands is unique in its study options. In addition, when any student is looking for some counseling or other types of support, Career Counseling, Employment Service, Freshman Orientation Program, Health Services, Personal Counseling and Placement Service can help. Specifically, the university has a Distance Learning, External Degree Program, Independent Study, Internships, ROTC, Army and Visiting/Exchange Student Program. The university has disability services as well, so be sure to inquire about them if needed.
