University of the Virgin Islands Summary
The University of the Virgin Islands (or UVI) is a university located in the United States Virgin Islands. The institution also changed its name in 1986 to the University of the Virgin Islands to reflect the growth and diversification of its academic curriculum, research programs, and regional community services. UVI offers 30 undergraduate degree programs, three masters degree programs, and two unaccredited professional degree programs in business and education.

University of the Virgin Islands is unique in its study options. Specifically, the university has a Distance Learning, External Degree Program, Independent Study, Internships, ROTC, Army and Visiting/Exchange Student Program. The university has disability services as well, so be sure to inquire about them if needed. There’s never a reason to feel alone in your studies either, since there are academic support services like Extensive Undergraduate Evening or Early Morning Classes, Learning Center, Pre-Admission Summer Program, Reduced Course Load, Remedial Instruction, Study Skills Assistance and Tutoring.

University of the Virgin Islands Admissions
This school requires an application fee consisting of twenty-five dollars regular application fee, twenty-five dollars out-of-state application fee and twenty-five dollars online application fee. If you are a transfer student, you will be notified of your acceptance by the 15th of June.
