Athletics

The sports teams at Tacoma Community College are collectively referred to as “The Titans,” which is the school mascot. The school’s athletics administration has made a bit of a reputation for itself—based on not only savvy management but equally on the good performance of the various men’s and women’s sports teams—as one of the only community colleges in the country to land an apparel contract (with Adidas in this case). The school competes in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAAC).

In all, Tacoma Community College fields men’s sports teams in baseball, basketball, soccer, and athletics; women’s teams include basketball, soccer, volleyball and athletics as well. The school’s various Titans teams have won several NWAAC championships over the last decade-plus, and Tacoma Community College has a strong reputation as being one of the best community colleges for athletes in the western US.
