Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, John L. Grove College of Business History
Shippensburg University was founded in 1871. The 200-acre campus is 40 miles southwest of Harrisburg. Total undergraduate and graduate enrollment is approximately 7600. The John L. Grove College of Business is located on the main campus. Courses are also offered at the Dixon University Center in Harrisburg (videoconference of MBA program).

Calendar
The school operates on a traditional semester basis. Semesters are 15 weeks long; summer sessions, 4 to 5 weeks. Graduate programs are offered during the evening only.

A bachelor’s degree is required, along with a GPA of 3.0. If GPA is below 3.0, applicant will be required to take GMAT, with a preferred score of 450 or above. Most important admissions factors are having a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, current resume, and GPA/GMAT.
Transfers are accepted.
Students may begin the MBA program in the fall, winter, spring, and summer. To apply, students must submit an application form, all transcripts, GMAT scores if needed, and a nonrefundable application fee of $30. No applications will be accepted if classes are full or the semester has started. Students are notified of the admissions decision after the MBA director reviews the application and other materials. Once accepted, students may defer admission up to 2 times.

Tuition for in-state residents is $336 per credit. Nonresidents pay $538 per credit.
