Unique Programs

The dual enrollment program allows eligible students to enroll in college classes along with their high school classes and to receive both high school and college credits. The Early College Enrollment Program allows high school juniors and seniors to receive college credits while completing high school. The students must declare a program of study in the technical/occupational field. This program is designed to increase the number of skilled workers in the state of Alabama.

To be admitted, students must simply fill out an application for admission and return their high school transcripts to the college. Some programs, however, have specific requirements that must be met before a student can be admitted. For students who have received their diploma at an accredited high school, there is no minimum GPA required for admissions, nor is there a minimum test score for the ACT or SAT.

Students who are interested in transferring to Faulkner must submit transcripts from any colleges attended along with their application.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid is available in the forms of grants, scholarships, work study jobs, and student loans. The scholarship committee of the college awards scholarships to students who have a proven record of scholastic achievement and leadership. Scholarships are also awarded to those who excel in other areas such as cheerleading, athletics and in fine and performing arts such as music.

To determine financial aid eligibility, students must fill complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
