Established in 1975, Heald College-Concord is a private 2-year career college that offers diplomas, certificates and associate’s degrees. Heald College holds regional accreditation. Admissions

There are several steps to take in the admission process. The steps are as follows:

1. Each prospective student’s first step is to schedule an appointment to meet with an admissions advisor at the college to complete an initial interview. At the meeting the student will discuss their interests, education, and experience. A campus tour will be provided as part of the interview. If they desire, parents are allowed to attend these interviews.

2. Prospective students must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent

3. An application is to be completed

4. Prospective students must pass the entrance examination(s) required for the desired program of study.

5. Additionally, the admissions advisor must recommend the student to the campus president.

Financial Aid

HC-C offers financial aid to those students who need assistance with paying for expenses like tuition, fees, books and living expenses. Those students who qualify are encouraged to apply. Some of the federal, state, and private financial aid programs available include scholarships, loans, grants, work study, employer reimbursement, payment plans and veteran education benefits. Deadlines are applicable, and satisfactory academic progress may be a requirement in order to be eligible for some financial assistance programs.

Students

Located in Commercial Circle, HC-C is a great place to go to school. It is conveniently located in a 66,000 square-foot facility with free parking and also accessible by public transportation. In line with its goals of promoting professionalism, on select days there is a Dress for Success policy.

Students have everything at their convenience to encourage a wonderful campus environment. Campus amenities include a multi-purpose conference center that is wireless and a learning resource center that features a library and a computer lab. Additional benefits include Wi-Fi availability throughout the campus, a student lounge with food service, on site bookstore, a dental lab, a dark room for x-ray development and sterilization and materials lab.

The college does not offer on-campus housing. For those desiring housing, apartments and houses are located near the school.
