Each time Iv'e tried to make a comment about Cambridge Nursing program, it magically disappears!! My family member has had to worst experience of her life at this school. I would like to save the time, energy, and money to any family who is considering sending their child here. They are getting ready to write the state exam, she has not even been able to do to practice the most basic skills of a nurse. She feels totally unprepared, how sad for a person to feel this way.

Thank-you "no-name" for your honesty!! Cambridge is a sorry excuse for a school. I'm a very concerned family member of a first year LPN student. You're correct, it's all about the money for them. There is a $10 charge for a missed day no matter what the reason, and $50 for a missed clinical day!! However, the school has no issue with taking an instructor away from class or clinical for a meeting or other reason. This translates to students who are left alone to figure it out, or be dismissed early. I'm afraid she will not be able to write her state license test beacause the nursing board requires a set amount of class and working hours that must be fufilled, these hours and procedures have not been met sadly. I'm not even sure how or who to contact about this. She feels like this has been such a waste of time and money(about 20-24 thousand dollars).Does anyone out there know who I could talk to about this, or what to do? A young bright girl should not have to go through this! It should be the time of her life.

I don't reccomend this school to anyone. I attended this school last year, and it was nothing but hassel. They say that they'll work with you when it comes to finances, but when it comes down to it, they want their cash. They don't care about you at all. Then when it comes to graduating, be prpared for something to happen. Things like you're graduation being extended or oweing more money. They tack on ridiculous fees for missing class. $10 to be exact because they say it's a hassel for them to put it in the computer. Who cares if a family member passes away or you have a sudden trip to the hospital. They just want you to pay for the inconvienence you gave them. The program is a joke also. You could go to a school some else that is cheaper and you recieve a better education. It sounds great when you get into the school, but be prepared, you'll be regretting every step of the way.
