Everest University-Pompana Beach is part of the Everest University system, which is one of the largest for-profit educational institutions in America. Everest University-Pompana Beach offers the following programs: Accounting, Accounting (BS), Associate of Applied Management, Bachelor of Applied Management, Business, Business (BS), Computer Information Science, Computer Information Science (BS), Criminal Investigations, Criminal Justice, Criminal Justice (BS), Homeland Security (AS), Homeland Security (BS), Hospitality Management (AS), Hospitality Management (BS), Massage Therapy, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Criminal Justice, Medical Assisting, Medical Insurance Billing & Coding, Paralegal, Paralegal (BS), Patient Care Technician and Pharmacy Technician. Most of Everest University-Pompana Beach’s career programs can be completed in only nine months.
In 2008, Everest University-Pompana Beach was awarded the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Achievement Certificate, which is given out annually to about 40 honorees. The award is unique for Everest University-Pompana Beach because instead of citing excellence in exporting traditional goods, the school is honored for its educational opportunities between its campus and China. Students who earn an associate degree in Hospitality Management at Everest University-Pompana Beach’s partner school in China, the Nanjing College of Chemical Technology, can come to Everest University-Pompana Beach to earn their Bachelor of Science degree in the same field.
Everest University-Pompana Beach is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges Schools to award associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The school is also authorized under federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. Everest University-Pompana Beach is also approved for the training of veterans.
Everest University Admissions
All applicants for Everest University-Pompana Beach must complete an application and an enrollment agreement prior to beginning classes. Prospective students who want to transfer credits from an accredited school must include an official transcript as part of their application.
Everest University-Pompana Beach strives to admit anyone who is willing to attend classes, regardless of their situation. However, applicants do need one of the following before they can enroll as students: a high school diploma or the equivalent (GED), successful completion of an entrance exam or a personal interview with an admissions representative.

As an accredited post-secondary institution, Everest University-Pompana Beach offers federal financial assistance programs to those who are eligible, in addition to numerous state, local and private funding programs.
Everest University Students
Everest University-Pompana Beach focuses heavily on hands-on teaching methods, and relies less on lecture-based classes. Students use the school’s laboratories for much of their training. Everest University-Pompana Beach also offers students the choice of day, evening and online classes so they can create a learning schedule that fits around their family and work life.
The Everest University-Pompana Beach campus offers spacious classrooms, laboratories, a student lounge and administrative offices. It is located in Pompana Beach, which includes three miles of beachfront property.
