All I can say is that was such a waste of my time and now I have a big loan to pay back. I was in the president's club (4.0 GPA & perfect attendance)3 times and still that did not help me or make much of a difference when applying for positions. They teach a little of this, a little of that which is expected considering it is only a 9 month program but for the cost it is NOT worth it. Once you finish you a pretty much on YOUR own when it comes to finding a job and there aren't as many jobs as they lead you to believe. The school claims to send your resume but who knows for sure and it doesn't help if they send 10+ resumes to place hiring for 1 position. I did the medical assistant program and I felt I was prepared to handle the "real world" offices and situation but I still have to had the chance to apply what I have learn. Offices wanted EXPERIENCED people and that school does NOT tell you this. EVERY month the school brings in new students and EVERY month students graduate so where are all these jobs they claim are out there for us??? Basically PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, GAS, ECT because this it is NOT WORTH IT and I'm sure in the end you will agree too...

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL is you ever plan on having a career. This school is a joke, you can all A's and still have squat. You are neglected, the admin cares less for you and just wants to keep you long enough for the full tuition to be paid, then you are on a boat w/o paddles. do not expect the campus president, director of education or anyone in power to help you, you will be left out in the cold. they could care less and call all the students un professional and laugh at them behind their backs. save your self $10,000 and go to a local college, at least they will help you succeed. This school has lost internship sites, are falling below par in education and you will left out in the cold when it comes time to take your certification tests. BEWARE

do not waste your time, energy and hopes in this school. You will be dissappointed. The education is subpar, you will NOT be prepared to take the NCCT or RMA test. Your needs will not be addressed and you will have to take a back seat to your money [as long as you pay your tuition] it is a waste and a real college will be more worth your money. i got ALL a's and still have nothing to show for it other than grief and being told, too bad in a nutshell.

I recently graduated from the Bohemia campus in March 2010 and I am still currently looking for a job. I don't feel that it was worth the money and now I have a very big loan to pay back. I was a straight A student all threw the year and had perfect attendance but that still has not helped with finding a job. Most places want you to have a year or more experience and internship doesn't count much because it is only 160 hours, which I finished in a month. So if you already have some kind of health care experience and are just trying to freshen up then I would say the school is for you but if this is new to you I wouldn't waste the money. Just go to a real college instead and gain experience on the side by volunteering at a hospital.

I am a current student in Bohemia, ----On the PUBLIC DIME---I also have an A average. I enrolled August 2009 and will graduate May 2010.
The school does have a student population problem--sheesh! It was very disheartening in the beginning for me--- BUT, aggressive behavior is not tolerated--PERIOD. As far as the less motivated students, they eventually weed themselves out....just ignore it-- use it as a learning experience for working with the public. The school is pricey, but I can honestly say that I see on a daily basis a concerted and professional approach to high standards from all staff and faculty. The teachers that I have had so far ALL have well over 5 years of experience in the field--10 and better has been more like it-- and they can teach. Even one teacher who I had for 2 of my mods and that I felt was weak had improved by the second mod. I believe it is due to the fact that the teachers are highly motivated and constantly consulting with each other. The teachers can and do answer all my questions, if they can't, they have always been honest and say that they do not know and if possible will try to get an answer me. They have ALL shown that they are interested in the success of their students. Ultimately, you get out of the school what you put in to your time there.
I hope this helps. If you are looking to not spend 2 plus years to get started in the medical field in an entry level position, this is a good way to go--you can go bacck to college later. If you have more time, money go over to SCCC and enroll in to their program.

As a current student at Brandford Hall I think that the way they combine classes is a problem. The entrance exam should be used as an indication of the level that student is at and they should be placed with students with common levels of intelligence. It is not fair for the students who are there to really learn to be placed with students who are there on the governments dime and who are distracting the rest of the class.

This school is a crock... I suggest anyone who is interested or looking forward to going to this school... DO NOT BOTHER! This school is only concerned with making money, not worrying about how students are going to get by in the medical field. Although there are a handful of great teachers (Mrs. Pascale) it doesn't help! DO NOT GO HERE! You will regret it...

This school has a lot of issues concerning their class structure. I have been there for one complete mod and now in my second. Let me tell you; STAY AWAY.... This trade school is looking to just make money and the really could care less about the benefit of their students. I carry a 4.0 and feel that there should be more. I also feel that the combining of classes is unacceptable. They take individuals who know little of a subject and DUMP them into a class more advanced. Not fair to either side if you ask me.

I am a student at Branford Hall and would never recommend that anyone waste their money by giving it to that school. They will literally hire anyone to teach there. They can not keep quality teachers, and what remains are monsters the likes of Mrs. Morales, who gets her kicks intimidating and bullying students.
