Introduction

Branford Hall Career Institute was founded in 1965 by Nelson Bernaducci. Mr. Bernaducci was a state-certified teacher who dedicated himself to helping others prepare to achieve successful careers. In 1969, the Connecticut Department of Education gave permission to the institution to operate as a business school for one year; offering full time courses for students to receive degrees. In 1977 the institute was accredited as a business school by the Accrediting Council for Colleges and Schools that are independent. In 1993, The Department of Education received jurisdiction over the school.

Since 1979, the institute’s students have benefited from curriculum changes that have been made available to keep up with technological advances. Students continue to excel due to their own hard work and dedication, plus the support they receive from faculty and staff devoted to each students academic and professional development.

Financial aid is available for those who qualify. The student must show a financial need in order to be awarded financial assistance and a willingness to repay after attending.

Financial assistance is available through a number of sources. Once students apply for admission to the institution, the student will be given the appropriate documents to fill out regarding financial assistance. A meeting will be scheduled with the financial aid department to determine eligibility and answer any questions the student may have regarding financial aid eligibility and financial planning.

All prospective students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA to determine financial aid eligibility. Some of the financial resources are from federal funding, and other resources come from the school itself.
