Academics

Antonelli College – Jackson, is a career-focused educational center and offers certificates and associate degrees in Business, Health, and Art, along with a CDL Truck Driver Training program. This school has fostered great working relationships with local employers in order to give their graduates unique opportunities after graduation.

The curriculum has the following available programs:

The Truck Driving program is based out of the SEC Training Center and includes classroom coursework and real-life driving to help prepare future truckers with dangerous road conditions, safety, backing, docking, and trip planning.

The Jackson campus consists of a school of Art and Design where students can earn a degree in Photography. The Business and IT school has programs in Financial Management, Business Management, Information Technology, and Sales Management; and the Health and Wellness school offers Dental Assisting, Massage Therapy, Medical Assisting, and Medical Billing and Coding.

Online learning is an option for students who cannot make it to a traditional classroom. Not all courses are offered online, since some programs require attendance in a lab. However, students can earn online degrees or certificates in the following:

Admissions

All students who have a high school diploma or equivalent are welcome to apply. Prospective students are required to fill out an application for admission, send all official high school or prior college transcripts to the college, and set up an interview with an admissions representative.

Financial Aid

There are several financial aid options for qualifying students, including grants, scholarships, and loans, as well as work study programs, and institutional payment plans.

Students

Students enjoy the college’s smaller class sizes, which have a maximum of 30 students. All students are also offered career services which assist with resume and cover letter writing, interview preparations and job search/placement.

For students attending classes on-campus there are several opportunities to be involved in campus life, including a choir, various student clubs, and campus wide community service projects.
