Introduction

The Anthem Institute-Parsippany is part of the Anthem Education Group. In 1982 the Group got its start as the High-Tech Institute of Phoenix, Arizona, which operated over 20 career training schools across the country. When the Anthem Education Group was created in 2008, the schools all became part of the new education Group. The goal is to provide students with practical, applicable, real-world training and knowledge. By emphasizing a hands-on education, they strive to not only educate students, but prepare them for rewarding careers.

Located along Route 46 East in Parsippany, New Jersey, this location was established in 1981. With a focus on Health Care and Technology, both classroom and coursework, as well as training in realistic work environments and time spent in the field, are used to instruct students in their chosen area of study.

Students

A variety of student and alumni services are available during the student’s time studying at the Institute and after graduation. Services like job placement assistance and interview preparation, private tutoring, review classes and supplemental laboratory time are free of charge to students.

Campus life is not all work and no play, as student activities are regularly scheduled by Student Services. Students commonly enjoy social gatherings like picnics, sports games, and contests while meeting and getting their peers and mentors in a relaxed, casual setting.

While the Parsippany campus does not have any intercollegiate sports teams, the Township of Parsippany Recreation department does offer a range of adult men’s and women’s sports including tennis, softball and volleyball.

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, more commonly known as Parsippany, is located in Morris County New Jersey. Local transportation includes the Parsippany Transit free-to-residents two-route bus service. Parsippany is traversed by the New Jersey Transit Morristown Line train via the Mount Tabor station which provides service to and from Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan, New York, and the Hoboken, New Jersey, Terminal.

Local attractions include the New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route and the many beaches of the Jersey Shore, and the Morristown National Historic Park. On the weekends students can enjoy the many cinemas, restaurants and retail shopping locations in Parsippany, the many area public parks and forests, or make the short trip into Manhattan to enjoy New York City nightlife.
