Offering technology based programming since 1969, ITT is career focused, and serves around 70,000 students in 37 separate states. Programming is offered in six separate “schools,” those being information technology, drafting and design, electronics technology, business, criminal justice and health sciences. Large portions of student time are devoted to lab and clinical study, practice and research, supplemented by classroom and traditional academic learning techniques. Students at ITT Technical Institute Tulsa may participate in associate and bachelor degree awarding programs of study. In fact, the US Department of Education data states that combined, in 2000-2001 ITT Technical Institutes issued the largest percentage of associate and bachelor degrees in the country in electronics and electronics-related programs. Class schedules are flexible, allowing a large number of students to study year round, with morning, afternoon and evening schedules. Students are free to pursue full or part time employment, or maintain their current job while attending ITT Technical Institute Tulsa, and enjoy brief “breaks” in the year-round academic calendar, provided periodically throughout the year. Classes run on a variety of schedules, from five to six hours several days a week, to meeting just a few times a month with supplemental online content to be completed at home. At the ITT Technical Institute Tulsa, students may choose from associate degree and bachelor degree granting programs in the School of Information Technology, the School of Electronics Technology, the School of Drafting and Design, the School of Criminal Justice, and the School of Health Science. Bachelor degrees awarded include information systems security, project management, software applications development, electronics and communications engineering technology, construction management, and criminal justice. Associate degrees awarded include information technology computer network systems, software development technology, computer and electronics engineering technology, computer drafting and design, visual communications, criminal justice, paralegal studies, and nursing. Students may also enroll in online programs such as MBA programs and bachelor and associate degree programs in business, technology and criminal justice through the ITT Technical Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Each ITT Technical Institute provides students with an advisory committee of local industry leaders and community members. In order to qualify for admission to ITT Technical Institute Tulsa, students must demonstrate interest and motivation to succeed in their selected program of study. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent; will have met with an ITT Tech representative, will pass an admissions test, or have met a minimum ACT or SAT score, or have earned a minimum number of credit hours at an accredited educational institution; and will arrange a tour of the school. For admission to some bachelor’s degree and MBA programs prerequisite studies may apply.
