Since East Valley Institute of Technology offers neither on-campus housing nor meal plan options, all students must live and find their own room and board off campus in the surrounding area of Mesa, Arizona.

With a population of nearly half-a-million people, Mesa, a suburb of Phoenix, is the third-largest city in Arizona and largest suburb in the United States. Mesa is a rapidly growing city and prospering industrial area.
