Marymount College Introduction
Marymount College Palos Verdes was founded in 1935 in Los Angeles, and moved in 1960 to the present site of the Salvation Army’s Crestmont College as a four year, then 2-year college. In 1975, the College sold that site (now Rancho Palos Verdes) and moved to another Rancho Palos Verdes site as a 2-year private liberal arts college where they are today. (Special thanks to website visitor James B. Gordon for providing this introduction).
Marymount College Academics
There’s never a reason to feel alone in your studies either, since there are academic support services like Learning Center, Pre-Admission Summer Program, Reduced Course Load, Remedial Instruction, Study Skills Assistance and Tutoring. That is, the university has a Dual Enrollment of High School Students, ESL, Honors Program, Independent Study, Internships, Study Abroad and Weekend College. Marymount College is unique in its study options. The university has disability services as well, so be sure to inquire about them if needed.
