Marymount College Palos Verdes was founded in 1935 in Los Angeles, and moved in 1960 to the present site of the Salvation Army’s Crestmont College as a four year, then 2-year college. In 1975, the College sold that site (now Rancho Palos Verdes) and moved to another Rancho Palos Verdes site as a 2-year private liberal arts college where they are today. (Special thanks to website visitor James B. Gordon for providing this introduction).

Marymount College Academics

There’s never a reason to feel alone in your studies either, since there are academic support services like Learning Center, Pre-Admission Summer Program, Reduced Course Load, Remedial Instruction, Study Skills Assistance and Tutoring. That is, the university has a Dual Enrollment of High School Students, ESL, Honors Program, Independent Study, Internships, Study Abroad and Weekend College.
