Hindsite being 20/20, I wish that this website existed when I entered Mac's court reporting program. It is the school that NOBODY checks out of. I know the ONE person who supposedly graduated and is still not working because the school does not equip you with the skills or knowledge to pass the state or national test. That being said, whenever you are looking for a CR school ask this question... "How many people gradutated in the last 5 years and how many of those people who graduated passed the state or national test." If they are unable to answer that question, or have a number as reflected in this average -- RUN and find a school with numbers that can reflect a positive result! If they have a low number it is because the program is being poorly administered and they are more interested in the $ than the student or their reputation. I HIGHLY recommend South Suburban College. They are a State run school (not private) and therefore required to follow certain guidelines which protects the student. Also, much cheaper because it is a state junior college. Mac is a privately run school and because it is so old it is grandfathered out of certain laws that require them to take better care of their students. The numbers clearly reflect this.
