High-Tech Institute-Dallas Academics

The High-Tech Institute of Dallas is part of the Anthem Education Group, which was formed in 2009 to include twenty-two different schools and colleges in fourteen different U.S. states. The original High-Tech Institute was established in Phoenix in 1982. High-Tech Institute of Dallas focuses on precisely what a student will need in a career in Healthcare or Technology, rather than prolonging an education with less essential materials.

The High-Tech Institute of Dallas receives its accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (the ACCSC), which is a body recognized by the United States Dept. of Education. In addition, the Texas Workforce Commission of the local CSC organization has approved the institute and recognizes the licenses granted therein.

Courses of study include the Dental Assistant Program, in which students become acquainted with all of the skills necessary to help a dentist perform an excellent procedure, from prepping patients to administrative duties; the Massage Therapy Program, in which students of an athletic bent who have a taste in biology and chemistry can hone their skills to provide relief for aching patients; the Medical Assistant Program, in which students get used to the fast-paced and multi-faceted job of working in a doctor’s office or hospital; the Medical Coding and Billing Program, which prepares students for the administrative work of a medical business rather than for patient interaction; the Pharmacy Technician Program, in which students learn how to assist a Pharmacist throughout the entire roster of duties; and the Surgical Technologist Program, which prepares students for the demanding but highly rewarding work done around an operating table, when doctors need assistance the most.
