Texas Wesleyan University is a private college located in the southeast part of Fort Worth, Texas. Texas Wesleyan University has been a member of the Red River Athletic Conference of the NAIA since the fall 2002. The member institutions are in both Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma and include Houston Baptist, SW Assemblies of God, UT-Permian Basin, Northwood, Texas College, Paul Quinn College, Jarvis Christian College, College of the Southwest, Texas A&M International University, Bacone College, Wiley College, and Langston University. On March 24, 2006, Texas Wesleyan University won the NAIA National Championship in Division I Basketball.
