West Liberty State College is a state college located in West Liberty, West Virginia near Wheeling. In February of 2007, Dr. Robin Capehart was chosen by the college’s Board of Governors as the new President of West Liberty State College, despite an earlier newspaper report stating that 85% of both West Liberty’s student body and faculty had preferred the alternative candidate for the position, Dr. Gregory Aloia.

West Liberty State College also offers a 4 year nursing program and an RN-BSN completion program.
