Opened in December 2000, ITT Technical Institute-Bensalem offers diploma programs of study in Business Administration and Criminal Justice and associate in specialized technology degree programs in Electronics and Communications Engineering Technology, Computer Drafting and Design, Information Technology – Computer Network Systems and Information Technology – Multimedia.

ITT Technical Institute- Bensalem is accredited to award diplomas and associate in specialized technology degrees by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. Selected programs are approved by the Pennsylvania State Department of Education for the training of veterans.

ITT Technical Institute- Bensalem is also a member with the American Design Drafting Association (Student Chapter), Bucks County Chamber of Commerce, Bucks County Transportation Management Association, Career College Association, Eastern Technology Council, Electronics Technicians Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Private School Administrators.

ITT Technical Institute- Bensalem operates on a four-quarter schedule: Spring (March), Summer (June), Fall (September) and Winter (December).

Applicants for admission to ITT Technical Institute- Bensalem must be at least 16 years old and have either a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). In some limited cases, students may be required to complete an entrance exam and individual interview with a school official.

Financial Aid

The ITT Technical Institute- Bensalem financial aid office offers student assistance in obtaining federal and state grants and loans. Limited loan programs include the Chase Selective Private Loan Program and the Wells Fargo Collegiate Alternative Loan Program. For non-institutional scholarships, ITT Technical Institute- Bensalem students can apply for two: The Champagne Scholarship awards four $3,000 scholarships (one awarded each quarter to a different student) to encourage higher education for working adults, and the Imagine America – Military Award Program awards $1,000 to 20 eligible active duty military personnel and honorably discharged veterans. This program is administered by the Career College Foundation.

Students can take advantage of ITT Technical Institute-Bensalem’s free Learning Resource Center, where they have full access to the equipment and instructional materials used for every class on campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Bensalem campus is housed in a 25,000 square foot brick and glass building at the Glenview Corporate Center. The building is used for theory classrooms and laboratories, the student Learning Resource Center, a student lounge and administrative offices.

ITT Technical Institute-Bothell does not operate any on- or off-campus housing, but it does offer a listing of housing accommodations near the school’s vicinity.
