ITT Technical Institute-Monroeville is focused on technology-oriented programs of study. The programs of study combine traditional academic content with the applied learning concepts, with a major portion devoted to the practical study in a lab environment. The advisory committees, which are comprised of representatives of local businesses and employers, assist each ITT Technical Institute occasionally assess and update curriculum, equipment, as well as the laboratory design.

Admissions

The admission process at ITT Technical Institute is quite easy. Applicants must have a high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent; meet with a representative of ITT Tech; pass an admissions test or take ACT or SAT. All official transcripts along with completed application must be sent to the institute. Students are welcome to tour the campus and meet the counselors.

All ITT Technical Institutes (except in some instances the most recently opened institutes) are well-accredited and are eligible to partake in the federal student financial aid programs, authorized under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 as amended and as administered by the U.S. Department of Education.

Students

At ITT Technical Institute-Monroeville, the students are encouraged to take part in the student activities to help develop traits like individual initiative, group leadership, and cooperation. It is the chief goal of the school to help students contribute in activities which are related to satisfying social needs, providing educational objectives, offering recreational opportunities and encouraging cultural enrichment. However, the school-related student activities must be sanctioned, approved, and supervised by the school.
